Aussie kid, Dave Fletcher has been based in north-west Italy’s Piemonte region for a while now. He’s the winemaker at Ceretto in Barolo and purchased and renovated the old Barbaresco railway station for the winery and cellar for his own wines from Barolo and Barbaresco. It’s fair to say, he knows his Nebbiolo and every year returns to AUS to make wine from the Pyrenees. Rich, lithe, savoury and structured just as it should be. Tick!
