Tom & Sally Belford produce some stunning wines from Victoria’s Yarra Valley wine region. Their detailed and beautiful wines sit at the Lo-Fi end of the vinous spectrum and the Syrah is one of our favourites. Whole bunches and carbonic maceration gives the wine texture and aromatic lift and the wine finishes fermentation and elevage in stainless steel for fruit purity and detail. Plummy, spicy and at the lighter end of medium-bodied it’s got crunch and sass and oodles of inherent drinkability.
