The solo Australian project from Belgian Koen “Koko” Janssens aims to make wines that are easy to drink, anytime, anywhere. Interestingly, he often achieves this with varieties that aren’t often picked in Australia as easy drinkers. Pinot Meunier is one of those. This Barossa Valley fruit was given the lo-fi treatment to let the fruit sing. Sitting at 9.4% it is perfect for drinking in the sun, a mid-week glass or party starter.
