This is a cabernet of great refinement with its palate displaying sweet dark and red berry fruit (currant, mulberries, blackcurrant) with earthy gravelly notes (cedar, tobacco). Hints of graphite and spicy bay leaf add a savoury element to the wine which is rich and complex with great length and balance. It smells good. Think pencils and chocolate.
