This is Peter Schell's linear and red-fruited syrah, from higher, cooler sites, where earlier harvests gives bright expression and textural freshness. The wine is naturally fermented with 40% whole clusters in a mix of stainless steel, wood and concrete. It’s Barossa but, wow, it also isn’t. Elegant cherries, brambles and undergrowth. A perfumed beauty.
