Cult wine alert. A true field blend of an old vineyard, mostly Nerello Mascalese with a bunch of other indigenous and local varietals. Certified organic and an expression of Mount Etna terroir, it spews volcanic characteristics. This is the entry-level wine from Frank Cornelissen that intrigues and gets the table talking. Never not interesting.
